For repair businesses
Is your business missing, or are your details wrong?
Simply Nearby helps people find local sewing-machine and vacuum-cleaner repair businesses. We want your listing to be accurate, including where and how customers can bring in or arrange a repair.
There's no charge to request a listing or a correction.
Already listed?
Correct or remove your listing
Tell us if your phone number, website, address, repair services or collection/home-visit details are wrong. You can also ask us to review or remove a listing.
Email a listing correctionInclude your business name, a link or town so we can identify the entry, and what needs changing. A public source confirming the correct details is helpful.

Tell us about your repair business
Repair sewing machines or vacuum cleaners but can't find your business on Simply Nearby? Send us your details and we'll review whether it belongs in the directory.
Email a listing requestInclude your trading name, repair specialism, website or public business reference, contact number, service area and whether customers can visit, you visit them, or you offer collection or postal repair.
How the email links work: They open a draft in your own email app. Check the information, then press Send there. Nothing is submitted just by clicking the link.
If an email app doesn't open, email us directly at [email protected].
What happens next?
- We review requests and check public evidence before changing a listing. Sending information doesn't automatically publish or remove a business, and we can't guarantee a response time.
- We distinguish public workshops, partner drop-off points, mobile repairs at customers' homes, collection services and postal repairs. Please describe what you actually provide.
- If you work from home, you can give us your general service area without asking us to display a private home address. Please only supply a customer-facing drop-off address if people may really visit it.
- We currently cover sewing-machine and vacuum-cleaner repairs in Great Britain. Other repair categories are planned but aren't currently listed.
We are an independent directory, not a repair business, booking agent or certification service. We do not take repair bookings or payments.
